ITS BEEN A WHILE

Its been a while that the happiness came to visit
Its been a while that laughter was a guest
Its been a while that I heard from the loved ones
Its been a while that any one came to visit other than the ,"Cough"

"Cough" came and stayed and stayed and stayed
A fish and cough starts to smell pretty soon
I told the,"Cough" "You are smelling now"
"You stink now"
"You should go away..far away..far, far away"
But the cough likes me
Cough likes me a lot
And told me, "Honey I am staying and I am staying and staying"
"I am an occupying power" The cough said
"Y0u are familiar with the occupying powers, aren't you?"
"Once they come inside the land, its difficult for them to leave"

"Its nice and warm inside your throat"
"I am very comfortable in here here"
"I am not a fool, why should I leave warm and comfortable lodging?"
'In fact I am so comfortable in here that I am going to invite my relatives such as,
"Sputum" "Fever" "Aches and pains" "Ill health" "Depression and melancholia"
"More cough" "More sore throat" "More depression and lack of will to live"
"They will all love your throat so much and I will have such nice company. We will all cough all night and make you toss and turn and be miserable and we will cough some more and keep you awake and un-happy all night so you could sleep all day and miss all the sunshine which will make you more un-happy and cough more and thats how we like it...we like to make the owner
of the land which is your throat right now very un-happy. That's the function of the occupiers. They make the occupied very un-happy...so why don't you get it once and for all...we are here to make you cough and cough and cough and be very very unhappy and misery stricken soul for a long time to come...so why don't you just take a long breath and start your day's work, cough now, start now...start to cough honey...start I said, "COUGH"
