Direction: The man opens an envelop, take a paper out

with a name on it and annouces.

MAN:

And the winner is Bulbul Saree

BULBUL

Races to the stage, is out of breath, take the mike and starts to talk

BULBUL:

Thank you.  Thank you.  thank you so much.

I don't know what to say.  I am speechless. I am out of breath.

Thank you academy. Thank you arts club. Thank you, my producer

Thank you my tall, white, blue eyed American husband.

Thank you, my mother, thanks to my father.

Thank you to the glass of wine I just had to calm my nerevs

Oh!  am so glad to be an artist.

I knew that this day will come eventually.

After all I crossed the ocean.

28 hours long flight.

Crossed borders to be here to receive this amazing award.

You see it's so important to be an artist.  We,  the winners can tell

the stories of all the people who never got any award...who lost their dreams

and then died as total losers.

Me, the winner artist is here to tell the stories of all the dead people

who were so un-fortunate in their long-long life...

I am so honored and grateful that you also helped me get here safely through tough immigration

to receive this precious award...

(The man rushes towards the stage and then interrupts her)

MAN:

There has been a mistake, there has to be a mistake.  This award is not for you.

(Bulbul is in shock)

BULBUL:

WHAT? WHAT?  What mistake?  What kind of a mistake? I can't believe it...what kid of a mistake

for heaven's sake?  What happened?

MAN:

Let me explain.  We were given the wrong envelope. This award is for someone else. For another artist.

Who has actually won. Not you, not you. It's a mistake, a big mistake. We were given the wrong

 envelope.

BULBUL:

(Horrified)

The Wrong envelope?  Wrong envelope ?  You must be kidding. You are kidding? Right? You mean I am

 not the winner?

MAN: 

Yes...

BULBUL:

  How unfair...how could such an established entertainment industry behaves like this?

Millions of people are watching me. Watching me win this award and then lose it at

the same moment.

 

Un-believable. unbelievable.  After making me go through

hell to get here, all the threatening questions at the airport, the awful jet lag,  the joy of winning once in

 my life time and now you are telling me that it's a mistake...

This award is not mine...it is for some one else...horror personified.. How can that happen?

But it has happened and has happened to me, me who never won an award in my whole life.

I hope this great democracy will get it's act together next year.

Now I have to go pee.  I have been holding my piss for so long...

I hope I don't get detained in the rest room for pissing...pissing on my desires... and un-fulfilled

dreams...

If I don't get back soon,  please send an ACLU LAWYER to get me out of the restroom.

You can do that at least.  After you took my award and gave it to someone else. Don't make a mistake

 getting me out of the rest room. You want me to spend my lousy life in the American rest room now?

Mistake?  What a great mistake...that is the only great thing you have accomplished in your life

Don't be a martyr.

they are all sources of anguish...just look away to liquify your future '

What is your work?

Then do it

And if you can't...

Still do it.

Avoid the word, "CAN'T"

Cultivate determination to do your work...

Just your work...

If you have no definition of your work

Or you think your work wasn't fruitful...

Just do what you like and  then call that your work.

What is it that you like to do?

Walk

Read

Talk

Draw

Laugh

Go to the the museums

Go to a park

Go to a beach

Go to a cafe

Be happy.

'BE HAPPY!" That's the most important thing you have just mentioned.

Actually it's the only thing which counts.

So make all the things listed above as your work. This way you will happily do your work

Which is,  the things you like to do every day...

Work must be delightful and exciting and rejuvinating.

Make a promise to do all the things you just narrated."  BS

to see,  you make time for them.  It's obvious,  isn't it?

And the people you don't want to see and things you don't really care for,

You never think of making time.  To you that's a waste of time.  That's what it exactly mean...

When you say, "Oh! I wanted to call,  or I wanted to see you, or wanted to go out with you for a drink

 etc, etc. etc...but I had been so busy..."SO BUSY." has become a mantra of people who just are

phony because it's all bull shit. One makes time for things to do.  One makes time for people to see.

Rest is all bull shit.  I know I said it before but I wanted to repeat it and I have repeated it...

People think every one is an idiot or stupid and doesn't understand the false, fake affection.

'Affection?"  That is actually too precious a word to use in this case.

It's just a form of small talk.  BUMS RUSH,  IT'S CALLED.  It's for people you don't want to see...BS
